The NWRA are committed to working with residents in all important issues affecting the village. Due to the deadline set by the Epping Forest District Council concerning the Gypsy and Traveller consultation we have primarily been focusing on this issue, however if you have an issue you would like our involvement, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
NWRA members have called at most of the households in the village to ensure they have a consultation document and to collect any completed paperwork. All completed papework was hand delivered to Epping Forest Distrct Council prior to the deadline of 20th February 2009. If you require any assistance please feel free to contact us
NWRA are teaming up with other residents Associations and Action Groups to explore all legal issues. This means it is down to the residents to raise as much money as possible and as quickly as possible to launch this process. If you can afford to make a donation all amounts would be most welcome. See the "What Can I Do?" section or contact the fundraising team for details on how to donate.
The NWRA are in the process of sourcing planning experts to complete an audit of the proposed North Weald sites in preparation of the EFDC planning commitee consultations if any of the North Weald sites are chosen. It is vital that we are prepared to move quickly with any objections to proposed planning application at the appropriate time. By employing professional plainng surveyors we will be in a much better position than those areas that have not prepared. A proper audit of the proposed sites by a professional body can highlight many more justifiable objections to an application. Again, however, professional advice will cost money If you can afford to make a donation all amounts would be most welcome. See the "What Can I Do?" section or contact the fundraising team for details on how to donate. Alternatively, if you have planning experience or work for a planning consultancy company and can donate some of your time, please contact us now!
The NWRA have provided advice and support to many residents by attending meetings, door to door activity, telephone conversations, email communications and by arranging open meetings to which all residents have been invited. If you would like an update on the consultation process or have any questions, please contact us.
